Ed Contini

Ed Contini has been a passionate advocate for senior citizens, veterans, and the disabled and underserved communities throughout his broadcasting career. He hosted the FM radio show “Over The Edge” for years, bringing awareness and entertainment to his audience. He is excited to carry his legacy forward on Get MAD Radio with “The Contini Context,” along with other engaging programming that promises to be riviting!

Ed moved to Rochester in 1973 and has a diverse background, including serving as a medic in the New York State National Guard for 10 years. He has worked both as a Union Organizer and in management, negotiating contracts from both sides of the table. An avid reader, Ed is also the published author of the alternate history science fiction book CATACLYSM and is working on the second book in the trilogy. His talents extend to the stage, having performed in plays such as Over the River and Through the Woods by Joseph DiPietro, and in the feature-length film Blue Hour (The Disappearance of Nick Brandreth), available on Amazon Prime and Tubi. As a devoted husband to his wife Diane, and a loving father and grandfather, Ed resides in Chili, NY, bringing his wealth of experience and passion to enrich his community through his varied talents.

Bryan Juda

Bryan Juda is a longtime radio DJ and musician from Western New York with a rich history in the local music scene. Having played bass guitar in several area bands since the late 1980s, Bryan has shared the stage with some of WNY’s top musical talents. As a member of the programming board for Get MAD Radio, he brings his extensive experience and passion for music to our station, helping to shape diverse and engaging programming.

In addition to his musical career, Bryan founded Knight Entertainment, a business that provided DJ services and booked talented artists for various events, further showcasing his dedication to promoting local music. In 2008, Bryan developed an internet radio station that reached the top 10 in the metal genre category. After over a decade of airing great heavy metal music, the station went off the air in 2018 when Bryan assumed the role of Program Director at an FM Radio Station, eventually becoming Operations Manager. In 2016, he and co-host Richard “Uncle Slosh” Dyson moved their show “ROCK THE ROC” from the internet radio station to an FM Radio Station, where it continued to highlight local musical talent each Sunday afternoon. Now, Bryan is bringing “ROCK THE ROC” to Get MAD Radio, continuing to showcase local musical talent and enriching our programming with his varied talents and deep commitment to the music community. Bryan’s dedication makes him an invaluable part of the Get MAD Radio team.

Lady Shiya

Shiya Hodes, better known as Lady Shiya, The Witch Coach, is an internationally known psychic and spiritual guide with years of hosting an online psychic show, “Dancing With Witches” on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitch. As a host at Get MAD Radio, she brings her profound insights to her show, “The Spiritual Spectrum” and as the weekend tarot reader at Mythic Treasures. She is also the president of the Make A Difference Now Foundation, Inc.

Scott Pellingra

Scott Pellingra is a dedicated musician and a key supporter of Get M.A.D. Radio, bringing his extensive experience and passion for the local music scene to the station. He is part of the Rochester Rock Brigade and  loves to share the 411 on all the local band happenings!

Mental Health Association of Rochester A Weekend For Wellbeing

A Weekend for Wellbeing is a two-day celebration of mental health, connection, and community happening May 2–3. It kicks off Friday night at Eagle Vale Golf Club with Stand Up for Mental Health, featuring live music from The Transport and stand-up sets by Meghan Rose, Dario Joseph, and headliner Jessimae Peluso.

Saturday starts with the Positive Play Basketball Clinic for youth, followed by Homecourt Heroes at Gates Chili High School—a celebrity basketball showdown with John Wallace, Tim Redding, Vernon Davis, Emma Cannon, Jessimae Peluso, and more. It’s an inspiring event where sports and entertainment come together to champion mental wellness.

Rochester Rock Brigade 3 Year Anniversary Show

Join the Rochester Rock Brigade for their 3-year anniversary bash at Buntsy’s on Sunday, May 4th—10 bands, all-day rock, raffle prizes, and a powerful message of suicide prevention woven through every set.
